What The National News Media Will NEVER tell you
(or all Real Estate is local)
There are some great sources for Real Estate news available today, I read many of them. The Wall Street Journal, Inman, RealtyTrac, just to name a few. The problem is that these sites will typically deal with the housing market on a national level and offer very little in the way of information on the local housing market. I wonder, if you're thinking of selling a home in Yardley Pennsylvania are you terribly concerned with the performance of a nationwide Real Estate market that is dominated by activity in California, Florida and Las Vegas?
What I will present in this blog is relevant data on the Real Estate market in the principal markets that I serve; Lower Makefield, Upper Makefield and Newtown Townships in Pennsylvania and Bucks County Pennsylvania as a whole.
The data in this blog will be "just the facts" to steal a phrase, because I feel there is far too little of that presented to Buyers and Sellers in the market today. If you'd like more information or detail behind some of the data, just ask. I'm happy to share it. If you'd like similar data for other market areas, I'm happy to provide that as well. This is one of the services that I provide and one of the things that set me apart from the crowd in today's Real Estate marketplace.

Let me tell you why I came to love Bucks County, and think you will too:
Award winning schools Our schools are not only among the best in the state but, they are among the best in the country. Top flight facilities, administrators and teachers who care and involved parents make our public schools an ideal place for young people to get an education.
Open Space Bucks County has spent the last 10 years preserving every bit of farmland that can be preserved. This land is saved as open space and working farms, allowing our farmers to stay on their property, working their land and providing quality fresh produce to the areas residents while still enjoying some payoff for the accumulated value of their land. This is how we beat the developers to the punch and control sprawl and traffic congestion.
Recreation Whether it's horseback riding at our many local stables, drowning worms in the Delaware River or one of the many lakes and streams stocked with trout and native fish, tubing down the Delaware on a lazy afternoon- where tubing was invented - or hiking through our beautiful parkland, there is something for everyone. Skiing is within an hours drive, boating on the river is loved by many and, of course, you can always spend a day picking, peaches, apples, strawberries or anything else your heart desires.
History 1776 was here. Bucks County is the home of Washington Crossing, PA. The spot of the famous Christmas night crossing of the Delaware that is seen by many as the final victory of the Revolutionary war. George Washington certainily did sleep here and many of the landmarks still stand and are available for touring, including the annual Christmas Day crossing reenactment. If you prefer, I can always show you some beautiful newer homes in Washington Crossing. It's a great place to call home.
Culture Live theater and art right here in New Hope, 30 minutes to Philadelphia, 30 minutes to Princeton and an hour on the train to New York, you're never out of reach of whatever it is your heart desires. Museums, theater, concerts are all easily accessable. You say you like antiquing? This is the place!
